The WELDCLASS FORCE 160MST is a compact and versatile multi-process inverter welder designed for MIG, Stick and Lift TIG welding. Delivering up to 160A MIG output from a standard 240V 10A power supply, it provides an excellent combination of portability, capability and ease of use for serious hobbyists and light-to-medium trade applications.

For MIG welding, the FORCE 160MST supports both gas and gasless wire, including solid mild steel, flux-cored, stainless steel and aluminium wire within the manufacturer's specified sizes. Maximum recommended MIG welding capacity is 6mm mild steel, making the machine suitable for fabrication, repairs, gates, trailers, brackets and general workshop maintenance.

The machine also provides Stick/MMA output up to 140A for common 2.0–3.2mm electrodes and DC Lift-Arc TIG up to 140A for steel, stainless steel, copper and chrome molly. TIG welding of aluminium is not supported because the machine does not provide AC TIG output.

The current 160MST MK2 features a Euro-connect MIG torch connection and is spool-gun compatible, providing additional flexibility when welding aluminium. Digital readout displays simplify adjustment and monitoring, while its compact 9kg construction makes the machine easy to transport between workshops, vehicles and job sites.

The standard package includes a 3m BZL 15 Euro-connect MIG torch, 3m earth lead, 3m stick lead and drive rollers for 0.8/0.9mm solid and gasless wire. A 10A plug is fitted, allowing connection to a suitable standard Australian 240V outlet.
